After completion of pre-work online, in-class group work and discussion, participants will be able to:
1. Describe a systematic approach to chest radiographic interpretation that can be used in any clinical setting to enhance detection and analysis of findings.
2. List at least two reliable online resources that can be of use in rational selection of appropriate imaging for common clinical scenarios.
3. Demonstrate appropriate use of the history field to effectively communicate with radiologists when ordering imaging studies.
4. Describe the process for assistance via telephone at BMC for questions regarding ordering, scheduling and discussion of imaging studies and reports in various common clinical scenarios.
5. Identify the location of reading rooms for subspecialty areas in Radiology at BMC where in-person consultation can be facilitated for common clinical scenarios.
