These images are designed to complement the concepts introduced in Session 1, and expand the range of imaging studies into the abdomen. Again focus will be on general patient state, as well as imaging findings that will be evident on physical examination. Emphasis will be on use of appropriate imaging terminology, and an understanding of technical factors that are important to consider for each type of exam. Recognition of types of study, including details of methodology for each type of study will be emphasized.
